We’ve approached every detail with the care an artist would give to his or her masterpiece. We pride ourselves in being able to solve your home furnishing needs and working with our fantastic furniture sources, and that often involves special ordering your furniture, especially upholstery. We understand that it can be hard to visualize if you can’t “touch or feel” your furniture but that is where we try to help. We are not just trying to sell you a piece of furniture, we are helping you find that perfect piece of furniture, and we bear a large part of that responsibility.

Manhattan Project

Sigma Kappa Sorority House: Such a fun project! The goals were to deliver a warm, updated and feminine space for a house full of young ladies that reflects their chapter's history and endeavors...all on time and on budget!  Special attention was paid to finding practical fabrics and furnishings what will hold up to lots of use as well as being easy to move around as needed for various events. Of course getting to do it all in their school and sorority colors of purple and lavender was a blast!

Northland Project

Working with designers is always so interesting and enjoyable!  Northland Designer, Darcy Mendenhall, and I have developed an amazing rapport--I swear I think we read each other’s minds!!  A talented and busy designer when she brings a client in it’s always a day filled with fun and creativity.  Add to that Darcy’s longtime client, Jamie, who brings her fantastic sense of style and the creative sparks fly! Jamie has a modern and dramatic vision for her home that Darcy has helped her execute brilliantly, and we are thrilled to help her source furnishings, art and fabrics.

Sorrento Project

Sorrento Models & Clubhouse:  Working with designers Rhonda Curry (Design Ideas by Rhonda) and Gail Gard Anderson (Avant-Garde Interiors) was such a pleasure for this project that was several months in the planning & finishing phases.  We met challenges due to floor plan modifications and availability of products, but the results were so beautiful.  We were able to stay within budget and find solutions for furniture that offered the "desired look.”  Caracole was one of our main suppliers since they offer such a great look. Our involvement with this Price Brothers luxury apartment complex project included most of the furniture for the clubhouse and the models.  The finishing touches of art and accessories were all Gail and Rhonda!

Apartment Project

Apartment Downtown:  This fun project was for a couple who visit Kansas City about once a month from their home in Phoenix..  They definitely wanted a different look from the Arizona residence we assisted in furnishing and wanted to include vibrant colors and textures.  This project also needed to be completed fairly quickly with only a few pieces special ordered and many pieces available from our showroom for immediate delivery.

August 2017

On this project, the client wanted an update of their beautiful home. They wanted to stay in their warm color theme of browns & beiges with gold accents & perhaps add a pop of a new color. We updated their look, staying in their traditional style by adding an animal print on a couple of chairs & a fun geometric pattern on sofa pillows. We decided to use the color teal for the “pop” of color. So that was pulled from the sofa pillows & introduced in the art & a couple of accessories. They were delighted with their cozy, yet a bit more transitional new look!!

August 2018

With this project, we decided to start over when the client downsized to a maintenance provided property. We had an empty palette with lots of white, gray & silver, and a contemporary theme. Wanting to add a pop of color a cobalt blue was selected. It was so much fun introducing the use of textures & finishes to the space giving their color palette lots of interest & some warmth. Their home is enjoyable & uplifting. It was a project I enjoyed because it was not what you see every day. We have both felt it’s a property worth showing off, as they enjoy entertaining!!
