A&M Home Furnishings (Previously Armoires & MORE) opened in 1995 as a small antique shop specializing in armoires. Times have certainly changed and now A&M Home Furnishings offers exciting new furniture from over 40 manufacturers.

Locally owned and operated, A&M Home Furnishings has a professional sales staff that offers unique, individualized service. Our goal is to make your shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free.

We understand that it can be hard to visualize if you can’t “touch or feel” your furniture but that is where we try to help. Our goal is not to "sell" you a piece of furniture. Our passion is to assist you in finding that perfect piece of furniture, and partner with you in creating a home that you cherish.

We pride ourselves in being able to solve your home furnishing needs. Partnering with brands such as Hooker, Rowe and Bernhardt we can confidently assist you in any and all selections for your living or work space. Believing that the pieces you select should be unique, we have chosen to only carry our favorite pieces in store with the majority of our inventory being special order.  Our accent pieces along with various accessories are available for purchase from the showroom floor.

Lynn Blaser

“Life is too short for a full time job”

A true motto if you love what you do. In 1995, the doors opened as Armoires & More In Lenexa.  Being a local business owner for over two decades, she has seen a lot of growth and change within the local community.  Realizing it’s a privilege to do business with the local designers and consumers Lynn is thankful for the opportunity on a daily basis.

Lynn grew up in Overland Park, graduated from Shawnee Mission West before moving on to Pittsburg State University where she studied nursing and biology. After graduation, she practiced nursing for over fourteen years before making the leap into business for herself.

When asked what her favorite part of the business is Lynn responds "seeing the excitement in a clients' eyes when the perfect piece turns into the perfect room and eventually into the perfect home."

Georgia Jones

“I love my work, love my design clients, and enjoy meeting someone new every day. I feel very fortunate!”

Georgia has been part of the A&M Home Furnishings team since 2012. She is from Redondo Beach California, has twin daughters, two grandsons and two granddaughters. Her family keeps her busy for sure! Georgia’s favorite time of year is summer, in the morning she indulges in a simple cup of black coffee, in the evening a healthy glass of chardonnay!

When asked, Georgia can’t pick a specific color she favors, however when she needs inspiration she turns to Maria Killam along with several other blogs that give her industry insights into décor trends and must have pieces.

Karen Sanders

Karen has been part of the A&M team since 2013. If you haven’t met her stop in immediately! We call her our own personal ray of sunshine, which works out well since her favorite color is yellow and her favorite season is summer! When she isn’t at work or home with her family she enjoys yoga, walking, running and gardening.

Mary Van Becelaere

Mary Van Becelaere is our newest designer at A&M with over thirty-five years’ experience in the interior design business. Mary was the owner of her own store in Littleton, CO and recently moved back to Kansas City to be closer to her family, especially her grandchildren.

When asked why she loves interior design Mary says, “It’s my passion. Looking at a room or a space and transforming it into a welcoming place is so much fun. I enjoy making things beautiful!”

Mary is inspired by many aspects of the design industry. A favorite designer she enjoys is Sarah Richardson, a Canadian designer who has a crisp, fresh look to her design style. Black is a favorite accent color of Mary’s, using it often in her creations. When asked her overall favorite color she shares “the many versions of jade."
